How can I split up large files to burn to a disk?

I some some big 7+ gig zip files. How can I split them to get them small enough to burn to a DVD, then how do I reassemble? Thanks. I got Crysis from D2D and I want to know how to back them up to disk.

Might depend on your CD/DVD burning software? I know version 6 of Roxio could do this [spread them amongst cd's/dvd's] and then reassemble them. Will look around and let you know.

Use an application like Winrar - it allows you to split files into pieces for later reassembly.
