Default Weather Station

Does anyone have there own weather station?

Following the weather with online radar and local new has been a fascination of mine for a lone time. I live in the Ohio area that goes threw the 4 seasons and my favorite has always been spring with thunder storms, tracking these storms with desktop radar.

Looking out at my back deck with the large dial thermometer that is off by 10 deg I thought about a home weather station. With a home weather station I could get better results of barometric pressure/temperature drops to tell when a low pressure cell is moving to alert to incoming weather conditions. I could then track online with radar and other information. Before I moved from the sticks I could see to the horizon, but now I live in a suburb area (with broad band finally) and can't see beyond the trees and houses.

This is a unit I have been researching but its relatively new from what I can find and not many reviews.

I just bought this one a couple months ago for the cabin:

On sale for $85. Works great.
