So I'm currently immersed in a VII career, but I'm also looking to add a little variety by playing a IID career as well, hunting around the coast of GB. To be able to sink a few more unarmed vessels without using precious toprs, I'm using the IID2flakship mod, which adds a 37mm to the IID. However, it seems I only have AA and AP as ammo options for the 37mm. Is HE not an option for the 37mm? I've searched the forums, and found some posts about changing the type/amount of ammo in basic.cfg, but it isnt yet working to allow me to chose HE as an option on the gun screen. What else do I have to change, and how difficult will it be? Thanks!

Finally, venturing far from realism here, is there a way to get an 88 deck gun on the Type II. I've tried this: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...ht=deck+gun+II but that didn't work. I fully admit that this Type II "alternate" career is a bit, umm, dreamy, but I think blowing apart tramp steamers from time to time would be fun. Any help?
