Default Small problem with hydroplanes

Hello,

I run SH4 ver 1.5 + TMO + PE4. I have noticed that after a couple of saves/reloads and TC (but not higher than 2048 as instructions for PE4 say), my fore hydroplanes do not unfold anymore, whatever command i give. Is it a bug...or when are those planes supposed to deploy ? It seems a bit erratic.
Thank you.

Its a known bug.

Usually happens after saves while submerged or in areas of high traffic or periods of high time compression.

Good news is that it is purley cosmetic and will not effect your diving times or submerged performance.

It will straighten itself out eventually. Then again it will happen again eventually:rotfl:

Unfold? I wasn't even aware you could put them away.

He is talking about the dive planes on the bow. The 'normally' retract when surfaced and extend when diving magically automatically all by themselves.

Oh, THOSE!!! Sorry, I read "hydrophones" and thought those two little ball things on the bottom of the sub. Sorry, I'll go get my glasses cleaned.

Ok, thnks. They seem to work now ). I actually noticed that they do unfold even when you say that they don't, but...somehow weird, inwards....and the rods controlling them seem to go up through the deck ). It must have been a secret feature of the Balao class

Only trouble I had with my hydroplane, was that it was only 8ft long, and had a 40 hp outboard on it, and it would periodically sink from the weight of the motor when it was tied up to the dock.

But it was a fast little racing boat!
