Default The Cruel Sea

i think the crew of a DD in the Med time travelled and saw that movie:hmm: . i had just sunk Southhamptom and tried to make my get away as i had no eels left. in order to evade i parked my boat beneath the survivors engines stopped and didn't that DD make a run right thru them. and not just once, but a coupla more times too . had a few cans dropped on me but took no damage. then another had to join the party and that's when thing got really fun. no scopes, had one can literally land on the tower top, forward batteries destroyed, just had aft at about 25% with a very fast 3kt flank speed it took about 2hrs RT before they gave up after sunest. i had to limp back to La Spezia on one engine. about 500km out i'm air attacked which put me at 45% damage, the DDs left me at 80. dived to evade but continued to sink so i had to emergency blow but was left alone. the pilot prolly thought he got me, but nope . never thought they'd make a run with their own ppl in lifeboats in the way

The lifeboats came in a mod and are not part of the original game. Therefore the AI DDs don't care for them.
