Default Dick's Cream Stout!

Man, these go down smooth! I've had too many of them tonight already, but that is another story. If you want a good cream stout to try, this one is the bomb!

Here is one review:

Quote:
First beer of the tasting at Malt & Vine yesterday was Dick’s Cream Stout. Let me tell you, this is one fine specimen of the stout species. It is on nitros, so that may be playing with it a bit, but I think this ranks right up there with the Ten Fidy from Oscar Blues.

A good nitros head and a smell of toastedness and smooth, smooth chocolate assaulted both taste buds and nostrils as this one quickly got drained. This is a dark beer that doesn’t pack a huge ABV punch, but it is super-tasty. It lives up to the “smooth” in its name unlike many others we have had the chance to review.

I wanted to buy some but they were out… next time, this will make my list.
I've been to the place this guy tested this at too multiple times!

...and no matter what you do.. NEVER.. I repeat... NEVER drink Dragon Stout.
I tend to collect pretty much anything with a dragon on it and these bottles had dragons on them. So I bought a six pack.
I'll have to say that it was the absolute WORST stout I ever had. It was like mud.

I will definitely avoid that one!

I'm into Dick's Rye Ale this afternoon! Also good stuff, but very rare to find in a beer store. I think Rye Beers are one of my favorite styles for a summer beer. Its light but with good taste!
