Okay, I've got to ask this as it's annoying me.
I'm currently playing SH IV in the Pacific campaign and have been persevering to try and finish my first ever SH campaign (never managed to maintain the enthusiasm in SH2 or SH3 sadly). I'm now in late 1944 so the end must be close! Anyway, I'm in a Balao class sub and I've noticed that sometimes when diving the bow planes don't fold down, they just stay tight in to the hull but seem to tilt upwards to point in to the air. I think this has always happened regardless of sub class. Is this normal or is it a graphics bug? On other occasions they fold completely down as you would expect. Many thanks Graham |

It's a bug. If you dive or surface at to high a time compression level it will mess up. Simply save and reload to fix it. I typically don't submerge or surface any higher than 32x TC.

Very old bug.
Good news is that its 'cosmetic'. It will not effect your dive times. ![]() |

Crank the suckers down manually! Those hydraulics are way overrated.

If you save whilst on the surface and reload the game your problem should be gone.
