I just want to say that McCain's little "Obama a celeb not prez" thing going on is just not cutting it... It wont work when Youtube and digg can have debunks out within hours...

This is good. Taking the statements of either candidate (in this case McCain) and dissecting it for truth and applicability.

My only gripe is that they are using the term Fact Check in their web address. This may confuse people with the original factcheck.org which is an excellent resource for non-partisan fact checking.

True. The original factcheck.org website has been an excellent site for cutting through much of the BS of American politics.

Both candidates have a penchant for supporting excessive spending and legislation that I don't care for. Toss a coin, you're getting more of the same either way.

It is sad that many citizens don't bother to go to these sites to read the actual bill. In the United States we have a pretty open government. If anyone has any questions about a bill or proposed law, chances are that the government has posted it.

When it comes to government information it is best to go straight to the horse's............................... shall we just say mouth to be polite?

Depends.. If Nancy is defeated then the dems way finally start to come back from cave city...

Nancy is hated almost as much as Bush now.. There is a chance she will be defeated..
