Hi Keltos,

you build very nice boats. Great work!

Is it possible for you to build the real "Narwhal-Class" ?

Greets

Maybe, but you have to know that I'm still working on the Class T submarine version 1 and 2 and that I have to finish up the IJN type AM submarine (like sen toku but only two planes) to include it in this mod, so maybe after, or during if you have a 3d mesh?

I need a real good blueprint in anycase,

@all modders : anyone who could help is most welcome

I kindo liked the twin deck gun of the Narwhal, but I since prefer I 8's (see Jyunsen B thread...)

Yes
A Narwhal is more like a I Boat.
Actually it is copied from the same basis, the german U 140something U-Cruisers from WW1.

From our 3D modelling point of view there are three main things that differentiate an Argonaut/Narwhal/Nautilus class from other fleet submarines from outside:

1) The size. I think you should be able to rescale a Perch class with any good 3D modelling software and get the proper dimensions with the click of a button.

2) The gun platform. That's something that would need to be added over the current deck, creating a proper 3D model for it. Nothing too complicated for someone with modelling skills.

3) The peculiar cut-down stern: Again something that could be obtained by reworking the original rounded one into a flat continuation of the deck.

Those three things and a decent skin should provide a fairly good looking Narwhal class
