Default These two guys drive me nuts

When not in sh4 or sh3 w/GWX 2.1, these two knuckle heads drive me NUTS!!

I can not even use lawn chairs without them taking over my space dedicated to me or "us":

That red car was a rental while I got my truck fixed from a hit and run while it was parked on a residential street. Wanted a picture of it to know that I road in a red, death trap, tin can, coffin called a car - HATED every moment driving it - a car.

So SORRY - my goof.

Sailor Steve made me goof this up by thinking that the Professor from Gilligan's Island could make a nuclear device from a coconut and made me give a bad link. My bad - blame him.

Oh my... your cats are cute

like the shots of the one in the driveway, on seeing the preview I almost thought something bad happened.

Brown one is 13 years old and is BARELY 8 pounds in weight. He beats the CRAP out out of the black and white cat at 14 pounds and still to this day is very active. This year alone he has killed 3 bunny rabbit babies and 5-6 mice. The collar you see on both is an electric fence that keeps them in our property.

Yea, that driveway picture of him laying on the concrete was when it was 90 degrees plus - it was a very HOT day. His way of "chilling out" in the heat. Scared the crap out of me when I saw him and ran and got the camera. Being the cheap ass that I am I refused to run the air conditioner in June.

I suggest you rent the movie called "Harry and Tonto" ... very moving movie if you are a cat person. The entire movie was made where I live - Chicago suburbs.

The spouse and I lately have had long conversations of the day when either one has to be put down. Black and white cat is now 10 years old.

Strange ... we been married 29 years [no kids] and these two guys are part of our "family" and daily life. When I get in the morning I have full conversations with both cats and they meow back their thoughts. They usually wake me up between 5 or 6 a.m. EVERY day. If, I decide to sleep later, they jump into our bed [both of them] and use their claws to scratch my face until I get up and feed them cat food from a can. They NEVER do that to my spouse - maybe because I am the ONLY person that cleans out the liter boxes, egh? :p

Got a strange feeling them morning meows can be translated into the phrase "up yours a-hole - Feed us."

:rotfl:

Blaming someone else is very high on the time-honored traditions list of things to do in a bad situation. I'm glad to give you somewhere else to point the finger than at your poor cats.:p

Speaking of which, here is a favorite quote from that quarter: "You own a dog. You only room with a cat."

ML, I got the same problem but it's not cats: 2 dogs, one is 14 and not doing so hot lately. 1 three toed box turtle that begs like a dog for food. 1 yellow watchman goby along with dozens of inverts that all stop doing what they are doing when I pass in front of the tank. They all have one thing in common: me, the sap that was convinced to get all of them!

Have you been teaching the tan one about insurance fraud, or con games? (in re to the laying out in the driveway in front of the truck) :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Got married in 1979 @ 26 years old.

Got a call from my parents [ma and pa] in 1981 that our dog of 18 years had to be out down and they asked me to do it.

Went there, got him, went to the vet, said my "good bye" and was VERY upset with myself for 7-14 days.

Made a promise to myself in October, 1981 to NEVER, EVER own a pet again.

Now I am stuck with the two cats. Both were a "gift" by "others".

Here we go again. There is a pet cemetary 4 blocks north where I live. Not doing that. Gonna clip some hair off and put it in a sealed container. That's it ... NO MORE pets. But I do have a 75 gallon aquarium that I do love. Rather watch them fish swim rather than watch the CRAP on TV/Cable.
