Ran it with the JSGME installer took a long time to Load.

They are the two options for the radio message received message. One is just the sound of morse code, the other has the crew asking for the code book and the sound of a typewriter typing the message and calling the kaluen. I believe the latter is the default one already in place in the main mod.

I just installed this mod tonight, followed by the 3.1 and 3.2 updates. Using JSME, worked like a charm.

Then I remembered that default sound-setting for the messages, wich gets a bit old when GWX-BDU is up and running and spits out a lot of messages in high TC.

I wanted to replace the sound with something else when I saw good old Thomsen was already ahead of me by offering the two options. I don't know about the typewriter one, wich I didn't want anymore anyway, but I just followed the install of 3.0/3.1 and 3.2 with the morsecode variant. That one works ok here.

Great mod! Wait 'til you get pinged :rotfl:

Thank's will look for the 3.1 and 3.2 updates?
Like I said I installed the Main 3.0 ver with the typerwritter only sub folder.
I just never hear any typerwritter sounds when I get a radio message?
Not sure but suspect you have to Installed the folder typerwritter sounds
separt. or the morse code only separt. I could be wrong on this
Will go over the readme very close, and look for those new updates.
I am using the JSGME installer to add mods to GWX 2.1
Thank's for your reply's

Yes Lane they are to be installed separate. Just drop the two folders into JSGME and pick which one you want to try and enable it. If you do not like the one you chose, unenable it and enable the other one. You will only hear them when you receive a radio message.

I must have something installed wrong with Thomsens Snd Mod ver 3
I installed 3.1 and 3.2 upgrades. then I installed the Morse code folder.
but I never hear any Morse Code when I switch to Radio Room or Radio
message area?
Could I have installed the snd mods incorrect?

One more question has some mod changed my Radio message Text to
German? Notice some other stations the Text now is in German?
All the Audio messages are in English. Could it be the snd mods done this?
Running GWX 2.1
Thank's for any info

Thank's guys

That explains why the text menue change to German Text.

I don't think I will ever hear a Morse Code message Most of time I am not
setting in Radio message Room when message comes in I just get a message
a radio message has arrived.

I remmber running SH2 with the PA addon. And hear the decoder running when a message was coming in.

Thank's guys for the info.

GREAT HEAVENS!

My mod is still being used? I thought it sucked!

My friend, you don't have to be in the radio room when a message is inbound to hear the morse code. Once the new message arrives, you'll hear the morse code, the typewritten and some chattering, depending on with version you've installed.

Thanks for appreciating!

Yes Philipp I installed your Sound Mod Ver 3.0 with the GME Installer in
SH3 GWX 2.1 Installed the two updates 3.1 and 3.2.
But I hear No Morse Code with that folder installed.?
I hear all kinds of crakes and stuff like that and the Text menue change to German text.

Phillip, I have a question? About Removing your Sound Pack and the updates?
Will just running the GME installed to Remove each Mod will that do it?
or there something special you have to do?
Thank's for any info
