Heading North through the Kattegat, December 20, 1939 (GWX 2.1) ....
I consulted "Moon Phases - Sun rise and set times for 1939 to 1945" by Andy Pratt .... allowing for the time difference between Greenwich and U-15's position, the Sun rose precisely to the minute indicated in the chart! When the moon eventually rose, the phase was exactly as stated in the chart! Very impressive! Kudos to Andy, the GWX team, and the SH3 developers! I am wondering though ... Is there any way to increase the luminoscity of the moon in GWX 2.1? Is there any value in a file that can be increased to do this, and if so where? As nice as the real photo images are, the moon in GWX 2.1 is never as bright as what I can observe outside my window......this bothers me. Last edited by AtlantikEel; 07-15-08 at 07:44 PM. |
