New guy seeks mod info

I can remember a mod I found here for either SH2 or SH3 that allowed me to surrender my ship on the surface. It gave a historical outcome to the Captain and crew of the vessel. I've scanned page after page in search of such a mod for SH4.
If it exists, can someone direct me to it. If not, could someone point me in the direction of the mod's author? I'd like to check into bringing a similar product to SH4.

I don't remember about SH2, but SH3 needs SH3 Commander to do that. So far there is not anything for SH4 with that kind of power, but Skwasjer is working on it.

He has a lot going on, though, so we probably won't see it for some time.

I had downloaded the mod a good while before ever playing SH4.
I guess I had taken it for granted that a game improvement of the type
would have carried over on its own standing. JScones, if you come across
this post, I appreciate what you did for the career realism in SH3....
