Any new ships available for SH3 1.4b

Hi guys,
i'm playing SH3 with the 1.4b patch and am trying to find out if it's possible to add new ships and/or classes of ship to it. There seems to be lots of new ships available for GWX and SH4 but after scouring the posts i've not found any for SH3 1.4b.

I don't know if it's possible due to the fact that any new ship class added would also need to have an accompanying new set of files added to SH3/Data/Sea folder and an entry added to the recognition manual, among other things (like being added to campaign files or what ever puts a ship in a certain place at sea).
So are there any new ships, or classes of ship available for SH3 1.4b, preferably JSGME compatible?



Btw i've added the new multiskin for the Bismark and Tirpitz to JSGME, though i can't find a sub-folder for the Tirpitz in the SH3/Data/Sea folder.

Maybe it uses the same class and shape as the Bismark?

Also added the skins for the HMS Devon, Cumberland, Norfolk and Suffolk, which i assume use the Nelson, Revenge and King George class folders.

Sorry to ask daft questions but i'm new to the modding world.

The thing is, there were many new ships for SH3 long ago, but since GWX/NYGM/WAC reached a solid status and included most/all of them plus new ones, pretty nobody has been doing new stuff for the stock game.

However, you can try a seach in the "List of Mods" for the old threads where new ships were released and see if the links are still alive. If they aren't you can then ask for someone to send you a specific ship, I'm sure someone will do it
