Auto-load

What happens when you un-check the auto-load button on the weapons screen?
Do you have to choose what torpedo goes into what tube and initiate the reload process?

Which do you guys use-auto-loading checked or un-checked?

I would think that auto-load un-checked would be better if you have a variety of torpedo types loaded on your boat, if it works the way I think it works. Gives you control on exactly what torpedo you want in a particular tube.
