Default A few bugs in gwx 2.0

1. Late 1942, everytime I load up a mission I get the message that my sonar is destroyed. Now, I really havent ever found a use for it so I dont see why I'd need it, BUT I'd just like to know why it keeps popping.

2. Shot an incoming destroyer in the nose with a torp as he was coming after me. Did I top view (I know I'm not 100% realism =( ) and he was spazzing out something fierce. Constantly shooting, no way it could be me I figured since I was below parascope. I turn around and theres this massive cloud of 80+ starshells that hes just pouring out. He stops after about ten minutes, I assume he ran out, and just sits there doing oblong circles over and over and over, and then just sinks. I didnt even get credit, grey sunk icon

3. Had a convoy come up as a big circle. Wondered what that was about and as I approached, turned out it was a convoy and three sub markers behind it. I spoiled the stalk sadly, but hey, stealing a troopship and a modern tanker was worth it for my rep ;D. I tried to find the wolf pack that was behind them but to no avail.

This sounds like the Luftwaffe got him before you could. They steal kills all the time, but they're a GODSEND later on in the war !

What sub type are you playing? Are you loading a save game or does the sonar get destroyed in a new career/patrol? If you save with damage and then reload the savegame, the damage message will appear when you reload the save.

This is a bug from stock explained here:
http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...4&postcount=15 As this is hardcoded behaviour it was not possible to fix it in GWX other than to limit the number of shells carried. I don't believe all ships that carried them were edited and obviously if you use other ships not from GWX then GWX cannot control the number of shells that ship carries.

Usually what happens is the escorts get stuck into the surfaced wolf pack and kills them before you get to see em. Unless you go for a look at them before they attack or get spotted. They cannot submerge. Yet.
