GWX 2.1 and sub emblems ...

My question is ...

That after 3 rather lenghty patrols I would like to add a emblem to the conning tower as I believe my trusty crew have deserved such BUT ... when I go to do that ... none are showin' up !

Have I screwed something up in my installation OR is it another problem ...

Everything else in the up-grade menu seems to be there just not the " SPECIALS "

Ooooooooooooooooooo ... I wanted to add that the emblem folder is still there

Are you using Racerboy's Flag and Pennants mod? I had the specials "disappear" when that mod was enabled.

I have the same issue. I do not have R/B mod installed but I do have the LRT. I did noticed that emblems are there on the first patrol but after that they are gone. I havent started a new carreer as of yet. I really want to get out of 39 but I do plan on removing all mods to see if the emblems dissappear without them.
I also grabbed and emblem on my first patrol. Since its in Aug 39 I figured I wont be sinking any ships so the bug that relates to not getting renown if you upgrade wont apply.

I use LRT lite and the missing emblems haven't shown up using that. Could be that the full version affects the emblems though. It only happened to me using the Pennants mod on any GWX higher than 1.03

That is a good idea because I can categorically state (as can hordes of others no doubt) that the emblems are included IN A CORRECTLY INSTALLED AND WITHOUT ANY 3RD PARTY ADDITIONAL MODS installation of GWX2.1

I'm pretty sure you are correct. I dont remember having this issue when it was just 2.1 with no mods. I have only just started to add the odd mod here and there and its not a game breaker for me. I did manage to get a emblem before my first patrol so I'm happy. I'm using the Full LRT, the lifeboard and the mission report.

I used RB's Flag & Pennants mod without any problems.

Try disabling any extra mods that change the u-boat .dat files. If the emblems return, pick the one you want, sail a patrol, then re-enable the extra mods after you've saved and exited your game.

This might work because I already had my sub emblem before I used RB's F&P and LRT.

Thanks guys for the help ...

I am usin' Racer Boys flag mod along with several others so I will try and delete a mod at a time until the emblems return ...

I was kinda perplexed as to WHY I had the emblem folder but they weren't showin' up in game ...

Oooooo well ... least now I know whats the reason and how to get'M back

I removed the LRT full mod and install the lite version and I got the emblems back.
Now I must find ships to sink
