This is the photo of the Hellenic Navy submarine HRS DOLPHIN.

This submarine conducted the first in combat torpedo launch in history.

On the moornig of 5th of December 1912, HRS DOLPHIN was submerged on patrol out of DARDANELL'S. An approach was made against the turkish light cruiser "Mejitieh" at point blank 400yds. Nevertheless, the 2 torpedoes went deep after the launching and the attack was not a success!!
