[REL] black smoke 1.5

hi,
here's a ROW inspired but heavily edited thicker
black/brown smoke for 1.5, now visible over horizon.
also there was a bug in the row smoke where it
dissapeared when the emitting object was out of
sight.

updated: darker now, with reflections affected by fog

compatible with stock 1.5, RSRDC, W_Clears Environment Mod

Hi Vickers!
is this smoke actually black?? I'd love to see a really BLACK smoke in the game. The row tweaked one is nice, but too brown for me..

Excellent! I pick and choose the mods I want for environment. I was hoping for a separate smoke mod. Thx a million!

Don't know if this is any help at all. There is the 'Smoke_volum02' TGA file in this mixture of TGA mod files I put together for SHIII (SmokeFire_textures_TGA.Zip) which I darkened. Not sure how it would look in SHIV though. On my File Front page.

I took the liberty of some screen shots

As you can see it is darker and more visable. You could go even darker IMO

Looks good and I will continue to use it.
