Enigma Simulator in game?

Is there an enigma add on that works in game? i,e you get coded messages and need to run them through the machine to read. I think I have seen a stand alone simulator but not one that works inside the game engine.

There is none that work in the game, there are several stand-alone simulators.

It does look like UBI was thinking about putting one in game at one point.

None in game as far as i know.
Interestingly the enigma 3d model in the radio room of your sub seems to be the 3 rotor army/luftwaffe version instead of the 4 rotor kriegsmarine one, so even if it worked you couldnt decode any radio messages intended for uboats!

And it would be nice if the AI had the ability to decipher your orders, and intercept you on the way to patrol square with a dozen destroyers.

This is only true after the February of 42, before that all branches used the 3 rotor maschine. But there were other, less obvious diferences with the cypher machines used than that.
