Default choosing torpedoe loudout between patrols

I just started; 6 patrols I think, & have the TI & TII shown in the torpedo section between patrols. Sub's always shown pre-loaded with TIs & I haven't been able to replace any of them with TIIs. Is there a correct pointing, clicking or dragging sequence? Thanks..

Click on the torpedo you wish to change, then on the torpedo description window at the bottom on the left it will show how many of each type is available, click on that and it will ask if you're sure you want to change it.

I always use Type I's in lieu of II's just because of the speed anyway...

Yeah, speed and range (TIIs are limited to 30 knots and 3kms only)... I just carry a few TIIs for shooting at an escort if needed.

BTW, who can remind me how I can change the default loadout of torpedoes? I have to replace the TIIs every time, which is cumbersome as the years go on and the default loadout more and more TIIs. I would like a basic all T1s loadout and then just manually pick the TIIs (which would be far quicker and easier).

I'd like to know this as well. Pain in the butt, especially if you forget, wait through the long load, then start setting everything in your sub up only to find that you can't change the speed on some eels because you forgot to change them out.

Default loadout of torpedoes? You can change this in the Basic.cfg (...data/Cfg), section [SUBMARINE_AMMxx] for EVERY sub type and EVERY year - as you like it.

Greetings

Wolfies Tweek Pak allows you to change the loadout easily with the included program Tweek Sub. It is available on Maik's server.

How does Wolfie's Tweek Pak do it? Is there a risk of a mod conflict, if I use that?

It works like setkeys does in my thinking.

You pointnt it at your basic.cfg and it makes the text changes for you.

It is an external program that does what Tupolev said. Here is a picture of the control panel which should give you an idea of how it works. It is a real handy program.

Thanks a lot for the replies guys. I found the Wolfie's Tweek Pak in the old subsim download section through google search, but couldn't find it here in the download section. Hope I got the latest version.
