Default MP games...

Outside of joining a "Virtual Navy", whats the best way of getting a game sorted? I would like to have a few games online as I would probably learn more with someone else there to help explain it. Anyone up for a game sometime?

X-fire: "Freelancers Guild," players who prefer objective-based missions.

Forums like this one. Also, CADC has an events calendar feature to schedule matches with. DW.pl has been having weekly games, often involving FFGs.

You need gamespy to play? And Ventrilo?
I never used gamespy but I don't want to install it to be able to play DW. Ventrilo or Teamspeak is a matter of taste I guess but I thought the majority of people uses TS instead of Ventrilo...

Hi.

Our community uses Ventrilo 2.3.0 as well as TeamSpeak2 server - all nevessary information about gameplay is here DW.PL Faq

We use GameSpy, because it is a system which was natively intended to work with Dangerous Waters. It's not required however - players can join directly to host by IP, but it improves communication - its easier to organise the session when I have to explain some things once, not many times on different communicators.

Notice, that specyfing your preferred platform @ forum in thread related to date [like 4th, April, 2008] helps the host to prepare the scenario earlier. Unfortunately not all players specify it there.

Is that gamespy arcade? I don't have that installed on my system. I would also prefer TS2, but if it has to be ventrilo I'll just install it.

Yes, its GameSpy Arcade. Look to my previous post closely, we use both Ventrilo 2.3.0 and TeamSpeak 2 :)

AchtAchtel, I have been trying to get on your forums to get in on some Friday games but it always tells me my account is locked and will never send me my password. What is the problem bro?

Just type submarine pictures into google and it should be the first one on the list .

I've got very limited photoshop knowledge so it's just text for the moment, but I think it works quite nicely. Just worried that its verging slightly on the large side compared to my old U-boat sig.

http://www.militarypictures.info/d/1..._submarine.jpg - link!

I just cropped the top and bottom off so it didn't take up the whole page lol.

The sig is too big for my taste, takes away too much space. It looks very similar to one of the LWAMI splash screens :hmm:
