Bdu wants a nice picture of the Sydney Opera House. Make sure you frame it properly. :p

Problem is it won't be built for another 25 years. You've got a long patrol ahead of you kaleun.

Maybe I should torpedeo it.
48 hours for a Photo Recce I wonder if I am required to remain in the harbor (the old CO2 thing precludes that though.

I stayed for 24 hours maneuvered deep into the harbor and still no go. I have done these before and never had this problem (though in the non U-Boat MSN game)

I've had this happen to me, only it was Singapore, and pre-v1.5. I

'd for a while, reloading and sailing all the way over to the port, to no avail.

I ended up resolving it by ignoring the primary mission for a while, sinking targets at my whim, then sailed to the harbor. Nice big tanker sitting there, waiting for the photo shot.

Apparently there's a possibility that the subject for the mission isn't actually at the harbor before you get there... so go hunt something else for a while, and come back. Few days? A week? I have no clue.

Sidney is a town in Kennebec County, in the Augusta-Waterville metro area.

The community was named for Sir Philip Sidney, English author
The latitude of Sidney is 44.413N. The longitude is -69.729W.
It is in the Eastern Standard time zone. Elevation is 344 feet.

Mind you at 344 feet above sea level you'll need a very long periscope.

p.s. I noticed that there is a 'Midway Island' nearby.........maybe you could scout that out too??????

(note for the more sensitive among us.......this is just a bit of fun......)

I think you must make photos of merchants with high tonnage. I had the same issue and solved this by doing that. Hope I could help.
