[Can't do a search for "sun" and "sky"...]
Running TMO for 1.4, added RSRDC last night, started new patrol, but the problem dates back to the 2nd half of my previous patrol, when I was running TMO + ASW Layer. The first half of that patrol I rememeber blue skies and a distinct sun, but somewhere along the line something got a bit askew, and now "clear" conditions (at noontime, I'll point out) begets a white sky, and the sun is a huge glare-ey indistinct blob. I remember reading another thread about the sun, but of course cannot do a search as I said above. I have been fiddling with the various graphics options in game, trying to optimize the game for the system. In addition when the sun is setting that part of the sky is brilliantly lit, while the opposite end is very dark. MTA: I've also seen other strange effects: a Colorado-class BB had an all-black deck, and my gauges inside the control room were also that same black color (i.e. couldn't read the numbers). And sunsets have lost all trace of red/orange color. Last edited by difool2; 03-20-08 at 01:54 PM. |

Nobody? Guess I'll try the old reset back to stock and reinstall the mods trick, and hope I don't have to do total reinstall... |

I think TM has some of ROW in it and it is possible something got screwy. I was fiddling with ROW and some textures once, I got the all white sky. Try this, start a submarine school progam in the game like deckgun training. See if the sky is ok. It was in my game when this happened to me. If the sky is ok, then something is screwy in your save and I suspect will not be corrected until you return to base and start you next patrol.
