Default torp depth/speed uboot

can't seem to find the way to set the torp speed or depth on the uboot addon like we could on the american side, is it then automatic according to the type of target and distance ?

You can change torpedo settings from the attack map.

Primary german torpedo was the type G7e. It was an electric torpedo. Meaning it used lead acid batteries to power it to around 30 knots. early models of the G7e had a range of 5,470 yards and the late war model had a range of 8,200 yards at 30 kts.

The G7e was a very good torpedo that was copied by the USN, with their Torpedo Mk 18. This was a modified version for USN service.

here is a link to German WW2 torpedos from the www.navweaps.com site
http://www.navweaps.com/Weapons/WTGER_WWII.htm

hope that helps clear up some things and questions about German torpedos.

On your Orders Bar click on the Periscope icon.
Now look for an icon with a big arrow (pointing to the right) with a small circle on its top right. These should be colored blue.
There should be three of these, slightly different from each other: one takes you to your attack scope, another to your observation scope, and the third one to your attack map.
On mine the attack map button is the 7th button over. You adjust all your torpedo settings from the attack map.
