Installation / Compatibility

Use RSRDC_P3_v350 for stock 1.4
Use RSRDC_P3_v355 for stock 1.5

Use RSRDC_P3_TM_v370 for TMO (loaded on Stock 1.4)
Use RSRDC_P3_TM_v371 for TMO (loaded on Stock 1.5)

Use RSRDC_P3_RFB_v390 for RFB

RSRDC Phase III Plus is a Rollup of all changes to RSRDC since release. “DO NOT” use “ANY” Phase I, II & III versions with this mod or you are going to get a CTD. Save games from Phase III “should work” with Phase III Plus.

Use JSGME to install RSRDC

Phase III Plus Overall Changes:

Phase 3 Plus will add a number of new ships and upgrade the Campaign files and Patrol Objectives based on the “Silent Victory; The US Submarine War against Japan”

RSRDC Detailed Changes from Phase III to Phase III Plus

Air

Revised weapons Loadouts for the following aircraft

Q1W1
F1M Pete
H6K
H8K

These aircraft now have ‘Hardcode” weapons, which means if you encounter them they will attack you

New Aircraft

B5N2 (ASW)

This aircraft is a modified Kate that carries depth charges and is part of the air group on “Taiyo CVL” that were assigned to escort convoys during the later stages of the war.

Campaign:

Patrol Objectives:

Revised the “Aleutians/Kuril” Island Objectives to support the new “Polar” missions into the Sea of Okhotsk and add three new “Sea of Japan” Objectives to support the first mission by the USN into that area.

Campaign Files

Update various campaign files to support changes based on info from “Silent Victory; The US Submarine War against Japan”.

Removed all the short range fighter base from the Jap_AirCover layer so that only ASW related bases remain.

Upgrade to the messages.txt file: Add more “Ultra” Messages to the Aleutian / Solomon Islands Area.

Added SV Air Search Radar to Balao / Trench Class

Removed SD radar from the S18 Class as these boats where not equipped with this system.
