Default Game Crashing - First Post

S! all!

New to sub sims.

I have SHIV 1.5. For mods I have TMO 1.9 and patch + RSRDC for TMO + patch.

The game starts normally - if a bit draggy - and when I'm a few hours outside of Pearl, I CTD. This has happened twice now.

Any suggestions for my WinXP system? I really want to play, but I need a stable game.

Thanks!

You know I experienced that twice and I think it had something to do with the sub I was using. I started a new career with a different sub and everything was fine from then on.

Thanks for the insights - still having the CTD, though, even with a new sub and basic settings.

I'm using the TMO 1.9, TMO patch, RSRD v.502, RSRD v5xx patch, and Captain Midnight's CBS News Sound mod.

Running an older WinXP SP3, 2.8ghz PentiumD Dual, 2 gigs RAM, 80gigs memory, Nvidia GeForce 6800. Never had a prob with the vanilla SHIV.

Everything looks great with my first two hours at sea - so I hope I can continue!

Is anyone else running the RSRD patch? I missed out on that one

I missed it myself...when did it come out? Guess I'll check it out, long as I don't have to start my career over.

No i have the patch. Everythings working fine for me.

I would try uninstalling all the mods. Then try installing TMO then run the game. If it works fine install TMO patch, then run the game. And so on... One of the Mods isn't playing nice.
