Default A might confused over the new expansion

Perhaps I am the only one, but it is not entirely clear to me what is included in the expansion.

Will I have access to the entire world?

WIll I be able to play a U-boat campaign in the Atlantic (ala SH3)?

Does it just add German U-boats to the existing Pacific maps and campaign?

Will installing it torpedo the mods I have installed (e.g. TM, ROW, RSRDC?)

I want to support the ongoing development of the SH series - but I really would like to know exactly what the expansion, uh.... expands.

For example, what does this really mean?: With the arrival of the German campaign in U-Boat Missions, players gain control over additional strategic resources other than their own submarines. These resources can be used towards the goal of sinking enemy shipping by either helping the player locate enemies – i.e. the scout planes – or by directly attacking them.

So is there now a rudimentary Flight Sim included?

Thanks,

This will answer some of your questions.

You'll need to uninstall all your mods before adding this Add On. Then you can wait for those mods to be made compatible with the Add On. As for a full U Boat Atlantic Campaign....that's up to the modders. My guess is that you'll get that in about six months.

One of the reasons for my questions is a selfish one. I just bought and built a new rig and so far SHIV is the only thing on it!

I don't want to expend the effort to install SHIII only to find out that SHIV has all the same stuff. Although I really, really wanted to try out the GWX 2.0 stuff....

Thanks for the link!

SH4 doesn't have all the same stuff... nowhere near. GWX is well worth it if you want the ultimate Atlantic campaign experience.
