Default audio bug and graphics glitch

G'day,
I'm using latest TM, RSRD. A couple of things I've noticed perhaps someone can indicate whether they are 'fixable' or not.

Graphics glitch;
the sea motion seems to "reset" it's overall motion every 8-15 seconds. Kinda hard to explain without video but the sea motion is doing it's thing then every so often it seems to "shift" or 'reset' and carries on as per normal. Visually it's slightly annoying but doesn't seem to affect game play. This is not the shuddering after dropping out of TC, I don't have that problem.

Audio 'glitch'?
Once in a while (i.e. rarely but...), haven't been able to figure out why but there is a goddamn awfully loud sound like blowing ballast/air. Loud enough that I have to remove my headset. It last a few seconds then back to normal.

Has anyone experienced either anomaly?
thanks,
Tomoose

I have heard the air ballast thing once. I was sneaking up on a DD that was patroling a port entrance and was at radar depth still out of visual range and heard that sound. Scared the crap outta me.

I get that sound at the beginning of every saved game restore after my boat has been on patrol for a few days.

The graphic problem you notice happens to everyone to various degrees. The fater your CPU and more video memory you get it a bit less. The SH world is a bunch of flat tiles. You can see the new ocean tiles being swapped in. Changing lighting conditions also causes this.

Default Ackd.

Thanks, gents. At least I know it's not unique to my machine/software. I guess I'll just have to live with it. They're not showstoppers just wee annoyances.
