Default I would like to suggest some mods...

Is there anyone who can make a torpedo mod that makes sure your torpedoes go BOOM everytime they contact with a ship?

And is it possible to make wacky outfits for the crewmen??

Just some suggestions.

And so the torpedo went 'tick-tock-BOOM!'
The captain asked one of the crew: "Why is there a hole in OUR sub?!"
To which the crewman replied "I put the torpedo in the wrong way round!"

BTW, if anyone's interested in meh fanfic 'Paper Mario - What REALLY Happened', look up 'Paper Mario Story' on http://thebunnyhunter.deviantart.com

If you're interested in hitting your targets every time, grab an acoustic torpedo. Believe they're called Zaunkonig II's or something like that... Wolfie's Tweek Pack allows you to change your load-out.

Yes Sir!!
And using Timetraveller's mini tweaker you can also change the power of the torps, as well as the range, same for the deck gun ammo and many other things.

Has anyone made a mod creating the Mark24 FIDO Torpedo? Like the german Zaunkönig it was an acoustic torpedo to destroy submarines. Launched by aircrafts it was succesful against submarine with high cavitation (is that the correct english word?), especially at highspeed diving before attacks. Very frightning to have the choice between beeing bombed at surface or torpedoed while diving to escape

Now, why would you even suggest such a thing!

Hi!

No, not yet. The main problem seems to have been persuading an aircraft to drop a functioning torpedo. Fortunately, Silent Hunter IV has functioning torpedo planes....

...thing about those sound-seekers is the blasted things tend to ruin perfectly good solutions by homing on the prop.

They're good for defense and perhaps disabling a big merchie from LOOOOOoooooog range. Oh and ya gotta remember to set em for mag det.

I do like how they sometimes creep up behind DD's and bounce off the prop one or two times before reaquiring and BOOOM! At least they don't just fall to the ocean floor after the first contact.
