Default Thank You from DJFL

Just wanna thank everyone here for being a bunch of jolly old sailors. It's refreshing to bring your own brand of personality (or in my case lack thereof) to a site and feel comfortable. So, if you can bear my dry martini humour you can face the whole IJN Fleet!

Mucho Gracias, Amigos! Mas Tequila!

People usually tell me my sense of humour is more like a fart in church.

If I remember correctly Davey had somewhat of a sketchy start but turned out to be okay.

Its a pretty mature and reasonable group around here and always willing to help even when the 'questions' have been asked dozens of time you dont see too much of RTFM responses.

Of course that may be because TFM is welll lets just say 'lacking' :rotfl:

And the longer you've been here, the better you know how hard it is to find something using the "search" feature.

I haven't had the search come up blank for me yet (when I knew what I was looking for was something I had seen in the past.) Maybe because I build them for a living and know what to expect.

Correct Shultzy. I will correct grave mistake after Odin strikes me with a lightning bolt. I don't listen to the new Sepultura. The old-school was far better.

Yeah!

Yeah, Davy, we hate you, but we let you live. Never know when we'll have to surface and send someone into the MBT to clean out the crud plugging up the vents... Don't want to lose anyone valuable if we have to pull the plug...:rotfl:

Hold it, I'm receiving a call. "Admiral Lockwood........has something......to say? To me? About something unfortunate I said about a fellow skipper?"

Sorry folks, I gotta go have a talk with the Admiral. I have no clue what he might be talking about. Must be some kinda mistake. Certainly I wouldn't be offending anyone, would I?

Somewhere I read about the above actually happening. The skipper asked for a volunteer and it was dangerous duty because if the sub were attacked, the sub would have to submerge instantly with the guy still in the ballast tank. Was it "Wake of the Wahoo?"

Aha! RR you're just about to learn something important in the Navy. NEVER diss anybody who is dating the Admiral's daughter! You're about to be demoted to a Stinky Bilge Rat for life. Or btw after you finish cleaning out the sub's can we need you as a mascot on the boat's bow, now get some rope. In the meantime I gotta measure the Admiral's daughter's depth, erm, you know what I mean.

Even when Max went with his new band I didn't like the sound. So I just play all the great original Sepultura CDs. "Refuse/Resist is one of my faves. I got about 500 CDs mostly Metal.

Waz da matter Robbie? All I did was tie a rope around the Admiral's daughter and she did a depth check to see how deep my boat could submerge. My depth meter went kaput. What did you think I meant?:rotfl:
