have try'd to download this patch for the new version of GWX 2.0 but it keeps coming up with an error in test 5 on the GWXInstErr-Notepad. it seems thesize is only 70298 can anyone help

I would suggest a fresh install of SH 3 ... then add the patch ... then add GWX 2.0 ... ALSO make sure ya have the right patch for your disk ... I think theres a DVD version and a CD-ROM version or something like that ...

If I understand you right, the problem is that the download of GWX2.0, part 5 is incorrect, with the wrong and incorrect MD5 value when you do the check. If this is the case, you must redownload that file until you get the correct value. Try an alternate download site for that file.

![]() Just what exactly have you downloaded ? Is it the 1.4b patch or the no 5 bin file your referring to ? If it's the bin file, downlad the MD5 checker programme from the GWX website (click on my sig) and check all the files you have downloaded. It is possible you have a faulty file, but usually the fault lies in the fact thet your not using a fresh/virgin install of the SH3. Follow the website installation instructions to the letter. ![]() |
