Default Looking for some action when in the Marshalls...

Heh, nice thread title eh? (Sorry for the double post in the mods forum. I goofed)

Anyway I was sent to patrol the Marshall Islands and it is just dead out here. I have been patrolling back and forth for four days and nothing. Just beautiful blue ROW inhanced ocean.

Its Dec. '42 and I am running the latest TM with RSRD. Are there any particular areas to consentrate on? I have been around all the islands from Bikini to Makin. Nothing...

I guess they should have made SH4 an open boat where we run around inside and shoot each other a 1000 times. They seem to handle those games with numerous patches. --Longam UBI SHIV Forums

A sad day has dawned...

It was mentioned in another post but beware of the shore batteries. Riding around on the surface can get real ugly real fast. The little morons are accurate too!!

Go there. Select all stop. Hit high TC to see out the 48 hours. Gray out the icon and then go hunting.

Do that. Then head west to Truk lagoon.

Last night, using TM 1.76, I couldn't Tc above 8 due to the amount of radar contacts moving around there. Even found myself a 6 Battleship task force (moving at 5 knots too). Put my last 7 fish into a Kongo but the damn thing wouldn't sink (using NSM). This was Oct '43.

Good Hunting
