And seriously, who here has never held up something to his eyes (Camera, binoculars, and so on) only to realize the caps were still on? He probably only had the bino's up for a sec, then put them down to take the caps off.

Heck, I stuck a lens in an enlarger with BOTH caps on, once! :-D
