Question: Detectibility of masts (periscope, ESM, snorkel, radio)

While trying the Kilo submarine I wondered in what ways the enemy can detect my masts protruding above the surface. Can they be detected and how? Radar sweeps? Visually? Does that hold true for every masts or only a particular one?

In simple: Masts can't be detected.
With latest LWAMI sub can be 'seen' at short range and shallow depth, but this too is independent on masts.
AI platforms also don't have any masts at all.
