I need some help

I have a littel problem with some ship .I found on another forum some war ships that are importid from SH4 .They work but don't have wake form (front and back).I look in the .val file and see that on wake form have wake_back.tga and wake_front.tga. I go in SH4 data\misc folder and find that file ,i copy and put them in SH3 data\misc folder and nothing happen .The .val file of the this ship is different than normal .val file .My question is :wath i have to do to enable the wake form on this ship .Ship look good but thay stay still.
