Hello my fellow subsimmers.
I have spent the whole day yesterday trying to create a .gif image out of some screenshots I took from a DVD. So here is what I did. I took the screencaps (which where in the .png format), converted then via GIMP to .jpg files and saved them. Next step I opened the first imaged and added the others as layers. Then I saved the whole thing as a single .gif file, also via GIMP. Now, there is a small problem. The pictures all appear blocky and look quite surreal. You can hardly identify a single face anymore. Can anyone help me out here? What did I do wrong? Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Paul |

Dont convert .png to .jpg you will loose data and image quality that way.

Alright, no further need to reply here.
I figured it out on my own - Floyd-Steinberg was the solution. |
