Uboat war badge still missing, sorry

Sorry to bring up an old topic, but I still havent been awarded the Uboat War Badge and I'm on my 12 patrol. Also, my renown is well over 10000 points. This is very strange to me, as it is winter 40, every one of my crew members have it and I've been awarded the Knights Cross with golden oak leaves swords and diamonds, but no patrol badge?
There may be a problem. I hope I didnt do something wrong when I d/l GWX2.0 and the new sh3 Commander.
When did most you you get the first badge? I guess I'm just nit-picking, but I'm just looking for realism. I think that after 1 war patrol you are to be awarded the badge? Or perhaps you need lots of renown before youre awarded this? Or it may have something to do with the realism setting?

also, while we're here, I have my "In Base" setting to 28 days, but I could swear that I'm staying in base about twice that.

These topics make me question my own sanity? I could be going crazy and someone is feeding me LSD through my water supply, but I could swear that somethings amiss here? I need help!

when I d'l GWX2.0 and the file for sh3commander, I didnt delete sh3 commander. I just unzipped the 4 contents and replaced the files in the sh3 cmdr cfg folder. maybe I did that wrong? help keep my sanity!

I have never been awarded any badges ever. Even in stock SH3.

Strangely enough this isn't the common U-boat warbadge you get there, it's the war badge with diamonds, that may explain why you didn't get it. Originally this badge was only issued 28 times. To get it you had to have the Knights Cross with Oak Leaves and it was up to the Flottilia commander to decide who got one, there were no strict demands or score to get one, you just had to be an outstanding commander.

A common warbadge was issued after 2 or 3 patrols or when a sailor got seriously wounded before he did the 2 or 3 patrols. It was usually handed over to the whole crew at the same time, not like in SHIII where you must sail several patrols to get everyone awarded with it.
