[TEC] Cloneing a ship... CTD

Hello, I would appricate it if someone could help me, ive been trying to clone the Shokaku Fleet carrier and change it into a Soryu Carrier, I copied and pasted the correct names on the file lables but always get a CTD when flipping through the recg manuel or when trying to view the ship in a mission or anywhere else. If anyone could help me with this PM me and ill send you the files. Or you could try to walk me through it, ive checked out the "colneing ships" in the FAQ but it sounds like gibberish to me.

Any help would be appricated

How exactly are you trying to clone it?

Just using one ship model, and essentially trying to use it again, under a different name and equipment configuration and create an entirely new object while leaving the old ship alone?

If so, D/L and reverse engineer this mod
