Default Gripping - reading real reports from actual sub combat patrols

Sorry if this is old news to some, but on some semi-random reading (this time about the BatFish) I stumbled upon a real treasure - The abilty to read actual combat reports detailing some very interesting minutia of sub life from combat to close calls by friendly forces to Japanese attempts to lay traps for subs, etc.

A great and gripping read if you have the time (about 15-20 minutes per patrol to properly absorb and get the 'flavor' of what a tiny fraction it was they dealt with and did.

I have ASCII text transcriptions of all of the Wahoo and Tang patrol logs.

However, I prefer not to do a string of emails. If someone would care to host them, PM me an email address and I'll send them to you for hosting.

Thanks.

You can read patrol reports of a number of boats (including Tang and Wahoo) at this site:
