Default OT: An article about my grandpa's service

Here is an article my grandpa had about him helping the CHinese in 1946, when the U.S. Navy gave them the U.S.S. Maumee. My grandpa was the Engineering officer's Yeoman onboard, and he later went on to be on Patrol Craft Escort 886 after the Maumee, the pic in my sig is a photo of the Patrol Craft shooting off some depth charges.
The U.S.S. Maumee AG124 was the Navy's first ever diesel powered ship, it was a fleet tanker launched in 1916, Chester Nimitz -Submariner CHest Nimitz and later on Admiral- was the Maumee's engineering officer, but that was way before my grandpa's time.
Here is the Article:

If you load the image into Photoshop and desaturate, you should be able to remove the yellow from the article!!!
