Hey I was thinking about buying an old Commodore 64 you know just so whenever any one was at my house I could start a conversation withe them untill eventually something came up where I would have to look something up on the web. I could say well I'll look it up on my computer and see what their reaction would be when they saw that I was using one. Anyway does anyone about an average cost of a 64 in pretty good condition.

Good luck finding one with a good power adapter. These were notorious for failing on any C64.

Get an emulator for your PC and DL all the ROM's for free. There are a ton of sites with Roms on it.

eBay is the place to be. Oh, the days of geekness as my wife jokes with me that it fits my profile. First, the Vic-20, then C-64, C-128C, Amiga. Now, computer technician for family and friends.
