Default GWX2 CTD

Hello everbody!!
Have a cuple of problems I hope you can help me with!

First of: Love GWX2!! But have problems with CTD`s.
Pc meets recomended specs. Played GWX1.3 without problems. No mods running. Formated my harddisk before installing. All seems fine, started a carrer in 39, and played for a long time without problems. But I am in march 42 now and here the problems start, patrolling CG37 and get a CTD everytime I`m attacing a convoy (loading from save). But I don`t get a error report in windows.
Tried to start a new carrer, worked in 42, but not 43. CTD, with no error report.

Tried to search the forum, but could not find anything like this.
Can anybody help?

I am getting this every now and then. Unfortunately I have been unable to solve it or determine the cause. I have posted a few times but noone seems to know how to fix it.

I can only say save often, save surfaced right b4 you submerge and than save submerged b4 an attack and during one as well. I am usually running 5 or 6 saves a patrol just to avoid restarting a whole patrol because of CTD.

Once and awhile I CTD when I load a saved game. I then go to an earlier save and CTD again. I may have to go back awhile in the patrol b4 I get a good save that works. Almost like the issue is time travelling backwards through my saves and corrupting them somehow.

But I am in agreeance with you, the majority of my CTDs were after I engaged a target. Then when I reload the saved game its only a few seconds b4 I crash or it never even fully loads.

If you find out what it is or how to fix it plz post! GL!

If you are seeing consistent CTD's then providing the following information is the only way the GWX team can ID whether the problem is something in the mod or due to a stock bug:

Mods running if any run on top of GWX2.0:
Year:
U-Boat type:
Flotilla & departing port:
Description of what happens immediately before the CTD:
Location and date that the CTD occursgrid position and if possible narrow it down to corner of the grid. e.g.; NE corner of AM52):
ID of any enemy ships that are engaged when CTD occurs:

We can then use that info to try to narrow down what the cause is.

My problem seems to be with the IX subs.
Starting a carrer in 43 with a flotilla that gives any type IX sub = a CTD WITHOUT a Windows error report.
Running no mods.

I´ve had some CTD´s.
I´ve had them when I looked at the beautiful shipexplosions.
Happend a couple of times. The game freezes up and the CPU restarts.
I have a Amd 4400+ Dualcore with 2Gb Ram and a GF7800 GTX.
So that shouldn´t be a problem.

It doesnt happen a lot so it don´t bother me that much.
But i takes a hell of a time to restart the cpu and the game.

Over and out.
