Default Information Request - Shipping Encounters

Hey - I've been wondering what nationalities people encounter whenever they patrol in career mode? I would imagine that most of the shipping is British and American but there must be quite a few shipping lanes devoted to neutrals & smaller countries. I would like to find out what countries I should focus on when I release new ships. If a particular country is not listed or if you have any additional information, go ahead and post it. Info from GWX usesrs is especially welcome.

Thanks

Default GWX1.03 Info

With GWX 1.03 it was Norway, when I made contact with a convoy in the atlantic...

Quite a few time I did duty at CG8x... and that meant of course portugese, spanish and neutral french traffic.., but I count this as coastal waters...

IABL, some GWX observations, by no means complete,

It all depends on year and location, around the British Isles any non-Brit is usually Norwegian although you do meet some Dutch ships especially in the North Sea

this of course when they're still Neutral. after may 1940 there's the Greeks, especially in the Med, There's also quite a few French and Vichy French out there, as well as some Argentinian shipping heading for Portugal and Spain.

I voted Dutch however because I'd love to see more Dutch shipping, we had quite a large merchant fleet in those days.

Norwegian and Dutch!

Do you do requests? My granddad was the eerste stuurman (helmsman?) on a few of the big Holland America Line ships, and I have acces to tons of info on those ships. Its nice to see the Nieuw Amsterdam in GWX 2.0 already.

Also, Im very looking forward to your mod!

(sorry for the slight derail )

In the North Sea up to December 1939 it's mainly been British, Dutch and Norwegian; although I took great delight in sinking a Polish Freighter headed South and East of Newcastle-on-Tyne.

Off the Canaries, where I like to hang out, I see a lot of Argentinian, and Brazilian shipping.

No offense, but that is pretty much ENIGMA to me.

What Denis was getting at i think was that the is not much soviet traffic in GWX and NYGM mods and this can be rectifyed by bringing in some russian scripters.
I might be wrong but that it how i translate it.

For my 2 cents worth.
The black sea in GWX 2.0 is a very active theatre of operations with lots of Russian ships and Merchants running around. Hats off to BBW for this
