Somethign wrong with Subsim.com?

Something broken?? Since yesterday I have had very poor performance on these Subsim forums...huge delays in posting or changing thread to thread...Delays in editing, freezes in essence..etc...

Am I the only one? All other websites and forums I have visited work normally.

Its to do with the new GWX 2.0 download, the donation part is being hosted here at SUBSIM

I've noticed it today on other forums as well. Seemed to start a little after noon EST for me, and hasn't completely cleared up yet. :hmm:

Yea sorry guys it's slowing the whole site down. Huge files, but ... it's all to the benefit of subsim as a whole including the SH4 forum and players. It's our home for all of us and Neal really needs the help.

Show a little patience things will calm down soon enough.

Not to mention there are probably some DNS issues as well due to all the ice storms in central NA right now.

SH3????? I was just about to form an SH4 wolf pack and sink that OLD SH3 bunch of German U-Boats but when I heard our faithful "Commander in Chief" needed the funds I figured I'd better stand down.

This answeres why at 10:00 a.m. PST I couldn't even connect to SubSim.

And it's still running slower than a 90yo passin a burrito.
