Default Things to MOD

My weekend is coming up, so I'll have more time to play the game . Anyway, I guess here's my shopping list of things I would mod if I knew how.

1. Dive times! The U-9 class took around five minutes to dive! So, we need to slow down the dive times. They didn't crash dive very fast.

2. U-9 conning tower. It looks waaay too large. Would it be too hard to make it smaller?

3. Torp reload times. Seem to fast
4. Sub skin textures. I want to clean them up a bit, refine them.

If I had just one thing, and one thing only, to mod, I'd ask for... a bearing indicator in the periscope view. Something to indicate the direction I'm looking, accurately. I've managed some nice manual setup sinkings using the field of view indicator in the compass, but each one has been a nail biting experience all the way, not because my calculations were off, but because I can't be absolutely sure of the ship bearing in the periscope.

Does anyone know about where divetimes and torpedo reloading times are implemented in the game?

All u-boat types have different (but too short) divetimes, so it must be somewhere.
I tried all parameters in shipdata.txt and TorpedoTypes.txt without any success.

Any clues/hints?
