probably 28 views by people who can't answer that question.
also you need to inform those who might know, what version/mods/situations you have. Career? single mission? new boat upgrade, etc etc etc. they need that to figure out why there are no deck guns.

The bog-stock answer would be that something is messed-up, like maybe you had a mod enabled, and have reverted back to the stock game, or maybe added another mod. Either way, the first thing to try is to clear the Save folder, which is usually "C:\Users \UserName \Documents \SH4", unless you've used MultiSH4 and changed the name of it. Delete everything below that level. This will of course, take out all old Saves and the configuration files you have been using. The Save data though, is only good for the set-up you currently have. If after deleting those files from the Save folder and re-starting the game, you still don't have deck guns, then a re-install is in order, which would also include a deleting of the Save folder...

Empty the Save folder. A re-install is most likely not necessary.
Do not mix mods, do not activate de-activate and then do another mod without emptying the Save folder. Do not do Stock, and then do a mod without emptying the Save folder. The game runs off of that, and neither JSGME nor anything else - except you - is going to empty that Save folder... ![]()

Open JSGME, click on Tasks, then go down to Export activated mods list to, then select Clipboard. Paste that in a comment here, like my example below.

This stuff if odd at first, but gets easier after a few tries. The great thing is, no harm was done to computers while "fixing" things...
![]() Open up the JSGME you have in your game folder. In that middle "gutter" area is "Tasks...". Click on that, and you'll get a menu. Choose the bottom one, "Export activated mods list to --->", where you'll want to click the "Clipboard" choice. That will copy the list to the Windows Clipboard, which is a temporary digital holding place in the computer's memory. Copying anything else between that and using the data will wipe out the list. Of course, you could do it again if necessary... Anyway, this is what the JSGME menu will look like when you drill down, but before you click on the "Clipboard" choice: ![]() Once you have that list in the Clipboard, log into SubSim, and reply. In the text box for your reply, do a key combination of <Ctrl><V>, or "Control" and "V" keys together, which will "paste" the Clipboard text into the dialog box here, and should look similar to what ETR3(SS) posted above in: Quote:

Ah-ha! Some of your mods are incompatible with TMO v2.5, and some of them are unnecessary, since they are already in the mod. Start at the bottom of your list, and remove all of them up to the TMO v2.5 listing. In other words, all but the one. Then re-activate your Spyron, which will wipe-out your TMO CareerStart and the sub's associated with that. Empty the Save folder associated with this install, and run the game again. See if it functions correctly for you to run the Spyron mod. I am thinking that there were a few things that had to be changed in that, but I am remembering an old aanker post, and it might have just been his custom install.
Anyway, if everything seems to run OK, go through the ReadMe documentation of each of the other mods, to see if they are compatible. Some will say in the text documentation that they are for the Stock game only. Others will say like "for use with TMO v1.9" or some such. You'll have to decide what you want to keep and alter for use with TMO, or just leave out, if they are not compatible. Read through some of the early posts in "[REL] Trigger Maru Overhauled", and you will occasionally find posts from folks inquiring whether "this mod or the other" would work in TMO. The answer was generally "No", unless it was specifically written for it. You might also ask other players what all they run with their TMO 2.5 mod. Another choice, if you want to alter TMO, is to use Bleiente's "Ralles RealModPack for TMO_RSRDC_OTC", which is Bleiente's "mix" of TMO, RSRDC (Run Silent Run Deep Campaign), and CapnScurvy's OTC (Optical Targeting Correction) mods. The "key" is to keep the mod list as simple as you can, so you have less chance of something going wrong. My guess for your deck guns, is that something is partially overwriting your "Default Bow Deck Gun" mod from Sniper297. That is the type of mod that would generally be one of the last that you activate, but even still, if the "rooms" on the subs, or the "placeholders" for the gun do not match what the mod is writing, you will end up with no guns... Do one step at a time, and test. If it works, do the next step, etc. You might also have to empty the Save folder between each test, depending upon what your new mod is over-writing. It can be a very frustrating process to go through. ![]()

You mention that your deck guns have vanished and I see the above mods highlighted in yellow by me... Please remove these mods, then try again. If all is working try one and test before you install the second... as it seems to me, that this would be the first place I would look...
