Default torpedo reload time

has anyone noticed how quick they reload compared to SH3, it takes a couple of mins to reload compared to 20 mins in SH3 is this correct?

im using RFB which i thought might've corrected this, unless 2 mins is how long it actually took

Wow something sounds goofy.

My boat takes well over 10 minutes to load one tube even at battle stations. Its exasperating waiting for them while in a middle of a convoy attack while the DD's search overhead.

Maybe it took longer to smear grease on the torpedo on a U-Boat before loading. I've never seen the torpedomen on a US boat grease the torpedo as it was going into the tube.

The Germans were probably using 'Relative Bearing' grease.

My crew also seems to load faster on each patrol as they gain experience. Never seems fast enough, though, when you miss with the 6th torpedo and need another.

Have you checked "Realistic reload times" in the options menu?
