Place your .wav files into the gramaphone folder located in Sound folder.

The path in your root directory of SH4 is Data/Sound/Gramaphone

@thehiredgun

They can also be .ogg files or mp3s', however some types of mp3s' don't work , mpeg type comes to mind. Check by right-clicking and viewing properties, sounds like you may have those.

You may want to get an audio converter, lot's of free ones on the internet.

@Archie, Welcome to subsim, from what I understand, .wav are probably one of the more stable formats, however I have used mp3s' as well.

Default I'm also having trouble using my own Gramaphone music

I'm also having trouble with using my own music in the Gramaphone. I've converted some Glenn Miller to .wav files, but they don't play in SH4. However, they play fine with MS Media player. Likewise, I tried using MP3 files that played fine in SH3. However, they don't play on the SH4 gramaphone. Is there a fix for this?
