Hi it’s my first post here.
I’m using GWX and very happy to be it. ![]() ![]() But there is one thing I’m not quite satisfied with. It’s a submerging time. Both GWX and Stock are using same CO2 increasing ratio value. I mean, no matter what U-boats you are using, you can submerge 36 hours at maximum because of luck of oxygen or increasing CO2 level. That’s quite unrealistic to me. I don’t know exact time each U-boats could submerge without using snorkel, but I believe type IX and type XXI U-boats can submerge much longer considering its displacement. So, I would like to change the CO2 increasing level as follows Type VII 36 hours (default) Type XI 48 hours Type XXI 72 hours These values may not be historical, but quite reasonable to me. So, does anyone know how to change the CO2 increasing value? Sorry for my bad English. Any help will be appreciated. |

Welcome to Subsim EASTGATE.
![]() ![]() Unfortunately, the CO2 progression appears to be hardcoded. Its one of those darn things that we cannot do anything with. You are correct that it isn't really accurate. We are glad you are enjoying GWX. Sink'em all!!! ![]() |

Thank you for quick reply Kpt. Lehmann.
I always respect your hard work and devotion to the SH3 community. Thanks a lot! ![]() but,hmm... I’m very sad to hear the CO2 progression is hardcoded. yeah, it’s one of darn things… ![]() Because I'm one of realism guys, I will have to stick to type VII boats from now on. Anyway,Thank you for answering my question. and May the Force be with you and GWX team! ![]() |

No worries Eastgate.
One thing about simulations though. If we could 'properly' simulate everything... it would be REAL. ![]() Most real U-boatmen are still at sea. ... and may the Force be with you too. ![]() |
